Today, we're gonna take a look at this K-Source replacement passenger side, electric, custom flip-out towing mirror with the heat, turn signal and puddle lamp functions. Now, this is a custom-fit part. It is designed to fit the 2012 to 2014 Dodge Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 trucks, and the 2013 to 2018 Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 trucks. And on a custom-fit part like this, I always like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show if this will work for your application.

Now, this side view mirror is a direct replacement for the factory original passenger side mirror with the power mode operation. This one, the power remote has, has the power remote capability, which means you can adjust your mirror face position with the factory power controls inside your vehicle. And it also offers the power folding, which will fold this entire mirror housing towards your vehicle for easy parking or maneuvering in tight spaces. Does have the heated mirror glass, which will clear frost and ice, reduce fogging. Also, if you notice right here on the corner or the back of the mirror, has this amber light that will flash when your turn signal's activated.

Now, this flip-out towing mirror will replace your OEM passenger side view mirror. Provides the extended view that's needed for safe towing. So, that'll allow you to change lanes, merge and pass other cars with confidence even with the trailer in tow. Has the flip-out head. I can show you how that head works, let me hold down on this and you can just see that the head will flip out just like that.

And this will give you an extended field of vision for towing. And then when you're done towing, all you have to do is just push it right back down for regular use. Now, the overall length when it's in like this is about 20 3/4 inches. When you do rotate it out, it is gonna be about 24 1/2 inches for the length. Now, they do use a OE-grade convex glass with first surface plating to reflect any sharp images.

Provides a nice superior range of vision. The front of the glass is plated with reflective chrome. And it is a convex mirror, so it makes the reflections appear smaller than with a flat mirror, which allows you to see more and reduce your blind spots. It is all in a nice durable plastic housing with a textured black finish. Turn it around so you can see, just like the factory. And it is an easy no-drill installation. Has the same footprint and mounting points as the factory mirror, and the mirror will plug into your existing electrical wiring. Now, this part number does replace the original equipment part number of 68285874AC. It is for quantity of one passenger side mirror. Now, one note I do wanna mention is this power remote, or the power remote capability, the heated glass, the LED turn signal, and the puddle lamp, which is right here down at the bottom, will work only if your vehicle already has those functions.
